Erin Cletzer, DVM, MS, DACVIM

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Oncology)


Dr. Cletzer is originally from Vermont. She attended the University of New Hampshire for her undergraduate degree, and then attended Cornell University for veterinary school. After graduating veterinary school, she completed her rotating internship at Tufts University. She then completed her oncology internship and oncology residency at Virginia Tech. She also completed her master’s degree in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences at Virginia Tech during this time. She achieved board certification in medical oncology through the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2020.

Dr. Cletzer realized her passion for veterinary oncology in veterinary school after helping to treat and care for a special canine patient on one of her oncology rotations. She has particular interests in canine and feline lymphoma, histiocytic sarcoma, and pet parent education.
