Your primary care veterinarian can treat most health problems and handle routine emergencies, but certain situations may require the assistance of a doctor who has had more specialized, intensive training in emergent animal care. Our Critical Care team features five Emergency and Critical Care board-certified specialists and specially-trained technicians. Before being seen through our Critical Care department, we recommend that you or your primary veterinarian call to discuss your pet’s current medical concern and recent medical history. This also gives our team an opportunity to prepare for you and your pet’s arrival.
