Dr. Anderson is originally from Texas and grew up outside of the Houston area. She attended Texas A&M for undergrad and continue to be a diehard Aggie Football fan. Dr. Anderson moved to the Midwest to pursue her DVM at Kansas State University and then continued her training at the University of Missouri where she completed her rotating internship and Internal Medicine residency.
After residency, Dr. Anderson stayed on as a clinical instructor at the Mizzou VHC in Wentzville where she started the Internal Medicine service. She is very excited to transition to private practice and join Dr. Howard as part of the Internal Medicine team at VSS!
Dr. Anderson has special interest in GI and liver cases and some interventional procedures. She also enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her husband and their 4 pets (a mini Aussie Scarlett, a crazy cattle dog mix Rhett, my step-doodle Max, and a very opinionated calico Melly).
